Course Curriculum Overview

Higher packages compared to other courses made me join this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:35. Most of the faculty completed their phds in nationally reputed colleges. There will be 2 mids and 1 end exams.

During the 7th semester along with a good cgpa, one is eligible for campus placements. Around 31 companies like C DOT, Fanatics, Publicis Sapient, and Torcai of the IT Sector come to our college. The highest package is 34 lpa and the average package is 10 lpa. Around 80 percent of students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 3 categories (family income >5 lpa, between 1 lpa and 5 lpa, and below 1 lpa) which decide the fee for a student. There are 3 types of scholarships central sector, state, and private scholarships.

Campus Life

Prodaya, cliffs to techno-cultural fests are celebrated in our college and we can find good books in the libraries. The amenities are good in the classes. Coming to sports it has fewer facilities compared to all aspects.

Hostel Facilities

Basic facilities like fans, cupboards, lights, cots, and device charging ports are provided. each hostel room is shared by 2 members. The mess menu contains both north and south Indian food items. Meals menu and quality are good with many varieties of items.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

All about NIT Uttarakhand

I chose this college because i have the state quota for this state(Uttarakhand). I expect to get CS here but unfortunately i got ECE.Also a tag is NIT will be benificial if future. In comparision to other NITs this college doesn't have its own campus which is bad (college life sucks here). Placement were decent in online time(2021 - 2022) but now the placements are becoming worst. For CSE branch it is decent but for other branches its very poor.
