At first glance

1) In first year every student has to study same couses irrespective of branch ,which provide that a further opportunity to competite once again for few left over seats of verious branches. 2)The courses are also very flexible just you have to make sure that your attendence is up to mark as per course instructor rest you can study one night before exam and still get average marks. 3)Most of the faculty and staff members are male and Girls to Boy ratio is also decent , 1:5 i would say. 4)Proffesors are highly qualified and cappable of explaing everyting inside and ocurse and extra also if you are querious to know more about someting in perticular. 5)Exams are very frequent wether they are Quizes or Sem Exams and since passing marks are decided as per average marks is not very difficult to pass since you have already came into IIT clearing JEE ADVANCED .

You were offerd paid internships in3rd year from where you can take some work experience and some lucky students also gets PPO at that instanse also after shortlisting them . I would recoment doing projects in DSA as majority of company ask for it , it will provide you sure hot intern. During Inetrn you were provided an junior post in that filed and has to work under a Supervison. it lasts about a Month or 2 .

1)Students become elgible from 3rd year for Pre-Placaemnt offer and and mostley placed by 4th year. 2)in tech field , all top MNCs come in thsi college including GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, AMAZON,NETFLIX and makes enough offer to pick up every CS student from campous. 3) Last year Highest package by 2Cr by a CS M.tech student from M.tech from UBER and everage is avout 30L for CS and little low for other Branches. 4)approx 90% placement and rest 10% are those who goes for highter studies and Civil servies 5)I will try to grab best placement out of all in IT sector only.

1) Fees is good as per B.tech course about1.5L sem and total about 12L for 4 year B.tech course. 2) After that also government and privare organisaiton provides various scholarship opportunities for students on basis of family salery , student acadmic performance and past achievements. 3) For M.tech and P.hd students stipend is also provided by college itself of becoming tutor which helps course instructor in verious things . 4) For B.tech students paid intership are provided from 3rd year and placement (approx guarented you are decent in your domain) in 4th year also

1) Hostel life is someting new for most of new comers in college , it makes you are part of another family (hostel as family ) . 2) Campus if full of greenery located in North-west part of country and full fo bio-diversity and cultrual diversity as prople from various parts of country come to take admission in this college. 3) TECHNICHE- anual tech fest (September) SPRADHA - inerhostel championshio (March) ALCHERINGA - anula cultrual fest ( february) and verious other fest are conducted in thsi college. 4) I would say IITG got the biggest library among all IITs and you just name any book and it will be available over there 5) Cricket, hockey , football, basketball, badminton ...... and this list goes on , My college provide all the indoor and outdoor games you may think of; 6) Verious clubs are also there like Music, dance, yoga, robotics, enterpeniourship, drama .... again this list goes on.

1) Hostel are way better as per the fees they are asking. 2)We are provided with wifi conection, bed , table and chair. 3)Meals are up to mark, they defintely cant compete with home food but 3 times a day, 7 different meals every day of weak and special dinner on Sun and Wed. Menu are dcided by 3rd year students only changes every month and if you dont like your hostel mess food you can also subscribe to other hostel mess. 4)Registration is dont along with college admission.Alotment is random, but you can change it to any of 14 hostel after 1st year. 5)I wont recomment joing PG unless extreme surcemstances because the city GUWAHATI is expensive and it will definitly not able to compete with hostel facility becuse campus is little ouside city area.

1) Admission is straight forward over here , You have to get sufficient rank in JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Mains to be eligible for that perticular course. 2) As per i rembeber JEE advanced application fees is about 2900/- rupees and priour to that you to fill JEE mains 1000/- fees and after clearing Exam you have to also pay JOSAA 35000/- registraion fees adding to total of 38900/- for a (GEN) open category student and deffintly there is wavier in every of this fees for catrgory students. 3)Reservafiion plays and very vital role in admission to government colleges like IIT and NIT due to special Reservation for ST , SC, EWS, PWD and GIRLS. 4)Admission process is all good as it is menaged by CSAB.
