I always had place for computer science in my heart. There are 2200 students in CSE and around 150 faculties. The faculties here are highly qualified and they are great at teaching and are friendly with students as per my experience but their are also some students who doesn't feel the same. The syllabus is completed within time and it is quiet difficult to pass because of paper pattern and the types of question.

ONGC, Amazon, Microsoft and offered stipend is around 50000. Some internship of offered were about 75000 . Yes there are lot of companies which offer intership in UPES. There is lot of competition as well so you should be the best.

From 6th semester students becomes eligible for campus placements. Microsoft, Dell etc visited & no of offers made 2500 . The details of highest package 44 Lakhs and 8.50 Lakhs per company. The 94% overall placements.

There is fee hike every year. UPES is a good college for Localites but not for people coming from outside Uttarakhand. Scholarship is given to student's who performed well in JEE Main, CUET etc. Financial Assistance & Job you got on campus with stipend.

Uurja is annual fest conducted 26 November and UHackathon is the tech fest 1 September. Availability of books & journals is good in library. There is not much amenities in classroom. There is lot of opportunity in sports & extra curricular activities like spandhan. There are many social groups like Go Green, MUN.

Room are provided are good as compared to other colleges as far as I know. Meal quality is sometimes may be good sometimes it's bad. You will have to fill a form a Hostel and talking about affordability yes it is affordable.
