My Journey at UPES till now.

As we all know that technology is a booming sector, that's why I opted for BTech Computer Science and Engineering. Students ratio is good here its about 60:40. Faculty here are also very supportive and good, they help the students whenever they face any problem. Their qualifications are also great, they have good teaching experience. Exams here are also held timely and they are not difficult to pass, if you study what is been taught in class you will be able to pass easily and also score good marks.

When students enter 7th semester they become eligible for the campus placements, considering they do not have any back logs. There are various companies that visit the campus such as Microsoft, Amazon, TCS and many more companies. The highest package for 2022-23 was 50 lakhs, 4 students got the offer from Microsoft and the average package was 9 lakh. All the students who were eligible for placement got placed. After getting the degree my plan is to do job for the next 5 years and after that thinking for a masters degree.

Fees of the course here is high, they are charging around 2.4 lakhs per semester, so yeah it is high. Cost to study Btech CSE for 4 years is 19 Lakhs exclusive of hostel expense. You can get scholarship here of upto 30% based on your score in entrance exam/12th/JEE. They also give Lifetime placement assistance. Also help you in getting internship and other opportunities.

Talking about the fests, the annual fest of UPES is Uurja which is conducted in Oct-Nov and this is an amazing fest including dance, drama, music, celebrity performance and many exciting things. Spandan is another fest of UPES that is for the students and the faculty which is conducted in the month of Feb-Mar, this is a sports as well as cultural fest. Social life here is great too, you will get to meet with people coming from different corners of the country. Various books and journals are available in the library and you can also download e-books from their online library. So accessibility is not a problem. In classroom there are all the amenities fans, lights, chairs, tables, projector, board everything except AC. There are various clubs which are solely run by the students like the dance, music, theatre, Debate and many other clubs. There are also student chapters which are run by students only.

Registration process is simple when the application forms are open you just have to fill the form giving your details of 10th,12th & personal details,then you have to pay the application form fee & then you will be given option to give entrance exam or you want to apply with 12th marks/JEE score.You can find the application form & all the other necessary details about fees & dates on the official website. Once it's done you will be notified regarding the entrance exam(if you opted)/regarding your admission that what course you got. Now to confirm your seat you have to pay a particular amount to confirm your seat(it is refundable). Admission process is also simple,after you paid the particular fees for the seat confirmation you'll get the email about login id & password.Now after logging in their portal you have to submit the rest of the fees & your admission is done. When you join the college you have to submit the impirtant documents there by confirming your admission in the college.
