The course curriculum is very well defined and modular, there are several choices so that you can choose your curriculum based on your interests. There are some mandatory subjects like physics chemistry math etc. The curriculum also keeps updating from time to time which keeps it up to date. Faculty is very ready to help and friendly, You will find professers and phd scholars teaching you like a friend, some are Ashwini sir from humanities department and Dwiwedi sir from physics department.

There are several opportunities for internships, there are summer internships, they provide a 2 month and 6 month break in 3rd year for internship. Big companies such as microsoft, adobe, flipkart, meta etc. give internship opportunities for students.

Placements are excellent of our college. CS has 90 percent placement with 20 LPA average package. Several big companies such as Amazon, flipkart, meta, microsoft, swiggy, infosys etc come to our college for placements. Several 50 LPA+ packages are offered every year. Overall 80 percent students get placed. Minimum package for 2022 was 3 LPA and highest was 125 LPA. Plus there is scope for pursuing masters after bachelors.

The fees is on the lower side, it is approx 8 lakh for 4 years including hostel. There are several scholarship opportunities for students of all years and financial assistance is provided for challeneged students. For SC/ST students, there is no tuition fees. On campus placements are also spectuacular. This year the average placement for CS was 20 LPA.

Campus life is very amazing, every student can get an enriching experience from this college. There is a annual cultural fest with the name of Confluence which is one of the best cultural fests of north india and a technical fest named techspardha. Both are national level fests. All the books are available in the library and the course books are given in book bank, mostly you will be studying from pdfs but the books available are good. Classrooms have excellent infrastructure. NIT KKR excels in sports, there are several sports in our college including cricket volleyball football basketball javelin throw badminton tennis swimming etc. There are several extracurricular activities on the campus, there are events for every major festivals, including that there are several cultural clubs including fine arts, several dance crews including SUC which is internationally recognised. The seniors are very friendly, there is a culture to refer to them as 'sir' but they are friendly and give parties

Hostel facilities are decent, there are some hostels like h6 which give some room to be desired but the hostels for first years are very spacious and bathrooms are clean. There is fresh water supply 24/7. Bathrooms are cleaned everyday. You get a 3 seater room with a giant balcony, There is a small problem of pigeons but it is nothing you cannot get used to. The wardens and supervisors are very friendly and understand your every problem. The hostels are also very affordable with approx 50000 per year.

Admission takes place through JEE Mains examination. The cutoff for 2023 is 7000 for CS and maximum is 45000. Admission process is the general process for government engineering colleges, eligibility criteria includes scoring higher than 75 percent in cbse boards. Admission is through the JOSAA counselling process, you fill up the choices according to your preference. There are 6 online rounds and 2 special rounds which are conducted by CSAB, there are no reservation benegits in CSAB counselling, After counselling there is a physical reporting stage, the physical reporting is also very streamlined and easy process. Most of the process is online and explained properly in various youtube videos and documents provided by the organisations.
