The campus life is just amazing with the beautiful landscape and the lovely weather of Dehradun
The college provides all support to the student if he/she is starting a startup
The college ensure full support for the students to get placed

Dislikes

The fee is a little bit too high and should be reduced a little
The road to the college can be improved for better transportation
The college should try bringing more transportation facilities for the locals

I chose BTech CSE because I was interested in this course Faculty:student ratio is 120:1 and teachers manage teaching these many students with ease Many of the teachers are highly qualified with industry experiences, Phds and some coming from IITs and foreign universities. So the overall teaching experience is good The term exams were timely and there was not much difficulty if you had studied the basics of the subject

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Well as of now I am in 2nd year and i have not yet started to look on the internship opportunities the college provides but as far as I know there are some good ones if you are willing to learn and for that you can contact the responsible college authorities

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, Barclay, and other companies also Percentage of students getting placed is above 90% My plans after getting the degree are for business or a high end job

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure(currently for me) is you have to pay after every semester (2lakhs) and cost of study is around 18 lakhs for 4 years The college does provide financial assistance if needed and also provides scholarships for locals of Uttarakhand or if a student maintains more than 8 CGPA

Campus Life

The annual fest is UURJA and it is held around November mid and there are many tech fests every one to two months There is plenty of availability of books & journals in library in offline and online mode There are many amenities for sports and extra curricular activities There are many social groups and clubs run by the students

Admission

Students are expected to have a minimum of 50% marks in class X and XII and a minimum of 50% in Physics, chemistry and Maths Application form, fees and dates can be availed from their website on upes.ac.in

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES is top class!

I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
