Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is the best. It doesnt teaches chemistry in BTECH CSE, since chemistry is not required here, whereas other universties also teaching Chemistry in the first year. The faculty is pretty decent, majority are youth, which connects the more.

I dont know much about it. if i get to know, i'll update it here, else you know i dont know. Yet, the reviews i got from seniors are not good because of the recession going. Lets see what this University can provide me

Placement Experience

From 5th or 6th semester i guess students become eligible for campus placements. Companies are good. Recent highest package by 2023 was 50Lakh i guess. Percentage rate and all, i dont have much idea yet.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very expensive. I dont know yet if its worth or not, but its very expensive. Its approx 16Lakh for me as i have Uttarakhand Domicile. Those who dont have, they are paying 19-20Lakh for this 4 year BTECH CSE

Campus Life

Social Life is good here. There are lots of fests going on every month or two. Sports and extra curricular acitivites on campus also pretty decent, however sometimes i feel that it could be better in such a way.

Admission

Entrance process was good. Yes there was an entrance exam that i cleared. It was based on the 11th and 12th syllabus, to be specific (JEE syllabus). I just passed there, and get into this University. That simple.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
