Likes

I definitely like the location where it is
The staffs and all are very supportive at the campus
The teachers guides students well and help them as well

Dislikes

The campus size could have been more larger
There are no farewell conducted for the fourth year
In our lab some system does not work properly

Course Curriculum Overview

I have always wanted to choose something related to computer and explore in this field and to solve the problems. 1:50 Approximately every teacher has done PhD in their field 2 mid semester exams in plus additional class test and continues with University exam.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 103900 per year

They generally eligible at the mid of their fourth year I don't remember the companies who visited thier but they do visits Highest package of 2023 was 22.27 lakhs Almost everyone gets placement either in campus or off campus I didn't given thought to that but I think I will be targeting some startup to grow and learn with them

Fees and Financial Aid

For every btech branch the fees are same with 109300 of a year and additional 2000 for registration and other fees as well in first semester only then from second year it only costs you 109300. I am not aware of any scholarship program offered by college

Campus Life

Freshers party conducted in September followed by a tech fest named Shiva tech fest in October. Library size and books are enough for the students out there. Intercollege sports are conducted followed by hostel team games as well ALICE is for AIML , Cybertron for cybersecurity Chitra club for photography and others as well

Hostel Facilities

A well cleaned staff and food counter with unlimited food followed by some limited sweets as well Meal quality is above average You just have to pay the hostel fee and security money It's quite nearby , the area nearby the college lags infrastructure

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

12 th pass with min 60 percentage in physics chemistry and maths You can find them on the college site and get further information from help desk No reservations I think it's good the way they are doing admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I choose this college of others because i wanted to continue to study in a budget friendly and well reputable college of dehradun. No i didn't get any rejection cause i dont applied in any another college. The admission process is so simple you just have to pay 10k to reserve your seat then you have to pay 15k for the admission fee and then the other process you got at college and the eligibility to get admission is 50% in intermediate....Read More

SCE is best in Dehradun

Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. One just have to come to the college and seal the deal by filling the admission form. We are informed on call, mail and WhatsApp if our name is there in the cut-off list. I applied for Graphic Era University and I was invited too for counseling but at the same time I was getting confirmed admissions here as well. 81% was the cut-off for BBA ar Shivalik College of Engineering and I had a slight more than that.
