Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in pursuing a career in software engineering since class 10 and I liked computer science as a subject in general. The faculty:student ratio is quite nice especially in the IT dept. The teachers are quite capable in making the students understand the subjects, half of the faculty have a doctorate degree. The exams do get delayed by a week sometimes.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for campus placements after completing the sixth semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro etc. come to this college for placements. The highest package offered was about 8lakhs, while the lowest is about 3lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this college is very much affordable as compared to other private colleges. And the fees hike is very minimal. The college does provide a tution fee wager for the backward classes. It also approves government scholarships.
Campus Life
To be honest, this college does not organise any sort of fests throughout the year, neither are there any social group, club or website for students. Sports participation is quite active, and the classroom amenities are average.
Admission
This college takes admission based on wbjee ranks, with a small amount of seats reserved for jee mains. The cutoff varies from 11000 to 30000 based on the dept chosen. I haven't availed any reservation benefits. I got selected in the IT dept.
