- Location and accessibility of this college
- Gives priority to many sports events which are organised every year
- Some faculties are much helpful and teaches also well ,understandable.
Dislikes
- Don't allow to take any intership programs.
- It has a college dress code which I personally don't like.
- No cultural events where all college students will gathered ,some artists will be invited.. this type of any events are not organised by our college authorities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is nice. It is diverse. Some faculties are too much good and helpful, some medium in this case. I choose this course cause I want to explore this coding field...in a year you have two semesters ,and each semester you have some theory paper and also some practical paper... Difficulty level of these exams are not too tough not too easy...
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is also ok ok... Cognizant,mindtree and some other companies visited our college to take students through campus recruitment. I have heard that mainly from 4rth year starting placement programs are started. 3.5- 4 LPA is the average package of our package you can say.after getting degree ,I will go to job at first.. till now I have no plans for higher study or research.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my college and for my admission year the whole fees for 4 years was near about 380000. Those who belong to west Bengal domicile,there is a scholarship named SVMCM and aikyashree for minorities. I got the SVMCM which gives 60000 per year but you have to maintain your YGPA above 6 . And if your got any backlog in any sem you can't claim this scholarship for that year
Campus Life
In my college there is no clubs. Sports events are organised and some freshers, farewell program are organised by our college students. Campus life is not soo good but ok ok. Cricket, football, badminton,table tennis, are organised per year and a yearly annual sports like running,short put these are organised in a day in a year...
Admission
I took admission here through WBJEE entrance exam... in my admission year CSE was closed near about 17000- 18000 rank. Through WBJEE, if someone want to take admission there are three rounds....round-1 ,round-2 ,mop up round... after locking seat in any round in this college you should have to visit college ,fill the needed forms, submit the needed documents to college which the college wants....and your admission process is done.
