Course was good as it has scopw in professional world. Faculties are smart and they have contacts in industry. Faculty to student ratio is about 1:50. Most faculties are btech, and mtech pass out with AP

Internships Opportunities

College internship is not that supporting as they could only provide this to 20 percent if students. No stipend is there in the one they provide. But few also got pre placement offers while completing the internship

Placement Experience

Placement starts from seventh semester. Various company starts to visit the college during this time. Aptitude and group discussion are initial round. Then personal interview. Wipro, ibm, infosis, tcs are to name the few.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is expensive, with 5L per semester. Laptop and hostel fees are also separate, which put a dent on regular income. They provide scholarship to students who has good marks in starting semester s.

Campus Life

There are two types if fest in college. Cultural and technical. Guest are invited, like various bands, and other technical heads in industry. Various clubs are there to support students and to participate in the events

Admission

Great college but expensive. Faculties are supporting, great infrastructure, good labs, inhouse food court, cafeterias, hostel facility. They provide opportunities to cs students. But college is good only for upstream branches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!
