Campus area and the gocool area is good and peaceful
There are lot of animals and birds in the campus like cows,ducks etc
Teachers are helpful and clears concepts

Dislikes

Core subjects early Morning classess are tiring
The canteen does not have good food and variety
Washrooms are really broken and not suitable for use

Course Curriculum Overview

Mine is a four year hons degree in political science as I studied humanities in my 11th and 12th class this degree is based on my intrest in political science and is useful for further govt exams faculty is good and helpful also the seniors helps alot and there are two sections A and B in which students are divided there are approx 51 students in section A exams are fine and kind of straightforward

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for first year is 130000 which is quite affordable for a bachelor's degree different scholarship programs are also there and financial assistance to minorities there are no as such campus jobs in my knowledge

Campus Life

There is no annual fest hosted by our college till date but departments are arranging freshers party for the new batch also different cultural programmes like dandiya nights has been organised library have reading rooms and there are different societies of dance and sports and ncc

Admission

I got admission in Delhi University by the entrance exam CUET There were 5 subject papers in cuet mine were history, political science, economics, English and general exam application form are posted on official csas portal and all information and queries are give there

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

The Best is Yet to Come !!

I had applied for a number of other colleges, but after the allotment got it into the present one. but I am totally happy here about my course, the co- curricular activities and about the faculties. If I start to compare my college with other colleges, there are a number of places where my college is a bit behind, may be in the case of infrastructure or placements.The main reason I was not able to be of another college was about the marks that I achieved in cuet ug and I guess more preparation was necessary. The admission process was easy, where the admission letter was given along with my marksheet of 12th standard and cuet scores was submitted. I had applied for a number of North campus colleges and I didn't get it into them , the reason is about the marks scored in cuet ug.I didn't get any rejection from any of the college.
