Life at UPES

I chose Btech- CSE because I personally love to code and this course gives me opportunities for me to expertise in that field. In my university, the number of students in CSE branch are a lot to which number of faculties are limited. So it becomes quite hectic for the faculty to pay attention to each and every individual but if you reach out to them, they will definitely help you out

From what I've heard, they provide internship opportunities themselves. But since I'm a fresher, I can't help you out from any personal experience. But I would love to get you more knowledge (if required) from my seniors.

In-campus placements are really very nice. If you work hard enough and have a good knowledge of what is asked, you might get a good placement. The average package around the campus is around 9-10 lakhs per annum. Which is quite higher than other universities

Fees is quite high when compared to the infrastructure and other good universities around. But opportunities are available over here. If one knows what their ultimate goal is and how exactly do they gave to reach their, they are going to have amazing opportunities from the campus itself, including the internships and placements

The infrastructure is good. The campus is big but there are bigger campuses out there, of other universities. They conduct annual fest.. usually in the month of oct or nov. Library is kinda big and usually the required content is available

Here, the in-campus hostel are very limited. But the good thing about the in-campus hostel is that during your in-between class breaks you can easily go to your room instead of roaming around. Hostel around here are quite expensive

I appeared for JEE MAINS, VITEEE and MAHE. For the application, I basically visited their respective website and filled my registration and application forms. For jee mains, I paid 850 Rs and for VITEEE I paid 1200 and for mahe I paid 1900
