Review of NITUK

I am pursuing my btech in electronics and communication engineering from nituk. Iam currently in 1st year. So as of now according to my experience, I will share my views, we all know eece is ever greeen branch, and it is also a connecting link between the core and IT field.Therefore many people opt for it without knowing anything about it so I think you should go through it course curriculum, no doubt branch is topnotch but after researching you will get a clear idea

there are internship oppurtunity in the college but you will get internship only if your acadmicesis very good ,I mean if your cgpa is good, in term of internship cse students have advantage . but if your are hardworing guy than you have more chances to get internship

Average pacage of nituk is 6lpa. I know it is not good for an nit but we have to consider it is established in 2010 and it also face trouble in placemente due to its remote location. Therfore many people prepare forexam like gate , civil services etc...

Generally fees structure in all NITS are same. You have to fees according to your family income, if your family income is less than 1 lakh than your tution fees will be zero, you only have to pay mess and hostel fees. And if your family income is greater than 1 lakh but less than 5 lakh then you have to pay 2 third of tution fees and hostels and mess fees. and if your family income is greater than 5lakh than you have to pay all expenses . But there are several schlorship you can apply for , myself i had applied for schlorship known as PM Ysasvi Yojana its procedure is goning on.

Currently NITUK is working fromits temproary campus which is very small its look like school .So don't expect great campus life here even good campaus life. In terms ofinfrastructure it lacks behind very far from other nits and gfits. But for your overall developpment there are several clubs like technical club, adventure club ,etc...

I think hostels are fine , but mess food is not good at all. And in each room there is 3 persons acccommodation , and for every student there is hostel facility available. And if you want ot live rented room youi will get it easily here.

You all know the admission process for nits is through jossa councelling, first you have to write mains exam, and then have to apply for Jossa/csab councelling If you will clear the cutoff then you will get admission easily, after the councelling you have to do online and physical reporting within 1 month almost.
