- There are continuous events happening both cultural and sports
- There is less competition for everything as no of seats are less as compared to other govn colleges
- Hostels and lecture halls are close to each other so you dont have to waste much time in going from one place to another
Dislikes
- Very bad infrastructure considering it is an NIT
- Mess food is really bad ,there is only one canteen which also dont provide much options
- Outdoor sports facilities are bad ,as there as no ground for football as well as cricket
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are on par with modern technologies and all the professors in the course are highly qualified from a big institution The environment for the course is high level as it is a National level college. There are labs for all the studies to learn practically.
Internships Opportunities
The college provide you with enough options for internship but you will have to work hard if you want to get a really great one, students definitely go for an internship during their third year and some even i their second year
Placement Experience
As i am currently in first year so i dont know much about the placements but hearing from seniors i can say that placement are actually not bad and uf you work for it you will get enough chances to get placed Average placement of NIT UK is around 8,00,000 depending on your branch
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees is 62500 for each sem with annual family income above 5 lakhs Below 1 lakhs tution fees is 00 Between 1 and 5 lakhs it is around 30k The mess and hostel fee is same for all categories that is 39k rupees
Campus Life
The infrastructure is not as good as you would imagine from a nit ,but you get used to it Campus life also in return is not up to the satisfactory mark If we talk about the social life at NIT UK its good because of it having less no of students you will get to know almost eberyone here
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room are not that big , consisting of 2,3 persons in each room College provide you with a bed ,a chair ,a table each and a sharing almirah,water and electricity supply is good , washroom are in bad condition
Admission
The admission process was really easy, professors were really cooperative and told us how to fill in all the required details It took only almost 2 hours in the entire process. It is allowed through counseling of Jee mains examination
Interview Experience
No there was no group discussion, interview for the admission but yes there was definitely a written test jee mains which you all might be preparing for,then there is online counseling for the same and then admission take place
