Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course for several reasons . The very first reason is that from 10th class I wanted to pursue arts but because of family pressure I couldn't . But then I get permission to pursue graduation in this course because I wants to become an IAS officer. And there are many other benefits that make me chose this course like I can pursue my career in teaching field also in political field and Many more areas . Also when I get to know that how good there faculties are I couldn't stop my self from getting admission in this course . But there should be improvement in timetables And timing of exams are in 2 shifts one morning and another evening . And the difficulty level of exams is moderate Like if someone took this course seriously one can get a better future for sure guaranteed.

Placement Experience

4

To be very honest our college is very trustworthy as it provides a good placement with good package. From 6th semester we can become eligible for campus placements. The average package is 10 lakhs and the highest package was of 80 lakhs . 70+ percent of student gets placement in my college and that too in great companies . After completion of my graduation I have chose two path one is appearing for UPSC and other is becoming professor in University of Delhi . Also I want to do business like I am doing now but I have to extend this and wants to open an NGO for orphans .

Fees and Financial Aid

To be very honest I am satisfied with the fees structure because ir is so reasonable and it is made like anyone can study without facing any financial issue and without facing any discrimination. We have to submit fees yearly and that is too 17000 only for BA programme which is so reasonable and anybody can afford this. Also if someone cannot afford , for them return of fee policies are available which is very beneficial for many students who are not having strong financial background . Also our campus provides many paid internship with good stipends which is also benefiting us.

Campus Life

4.5

So yeah my experience with campus life is very good as it organize many fests like josh 24 fest, Literature fest , dandiya fest , freshers party and many more and they all are held according to the special days like josh 24 fest was held in Feb and rapper RCR was invited . Also the library is filled with plenty of books which are so easy to issue . We are getting facilities like 24 hours of electricity, availability of pads in washroom for girls, clean washroom , availability of drinking water and Many more . There are camera in every classroom Also our college held alot of sports and other extracurricular activities.

Admission

The admission process was very good , i as a student didn't face any complexity all the process was very smooth . Firstly we found out that we have to appear in CUET to get admission in central university. And we get thus information from TV news channel . Then the forms of cuet was out . I filled the form with complete details in which we have to select course , college , and choice of subjects in which we Will appear for cuet exam. But that subject should be there in your 12th boards . Eligibility for appearing in cuet was 12 passout. And for getting admission in DU for BA programme was 12th passout with above 55 percent in each subject . After clearing exam I get selected in DU in 3rd round . And After that Ramanujan the university of Delhi organised an orientation in which we get to know our teachers and others . The application fees was according to no. Of subject We chose . And the dates of exam fluctuated very much . The entrance exam was quite tough . Also NTA should improve

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
