- VAC,SEC,AEC courses that only increases the burdon of study.
- Initial days of semesters are confusing for students as not much details are provided by the staff.
- After the introduction of CUET , students in college are not much attentive especially in off campus colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
-Opting this course signifies the interest of student in History and Political Science. -Students having a fond interest in the field of arts or Civil services examination, SSC can choose this course as it somehow matches with the syllabus of these competive exams. -UoD must understand that there is no need of implementing elective courses like Value Addition Course, Skill Enhancement Course , Ability Enhancement Course as they only increases the sylalbus not values,skill, and ability of the student for which they are added in the course. Exams are conducted Semester wise with a monthly gap of approximately 4-5 months each. with a moderate level of difficulty as the student is required to elaborate his/her answers upto a large extent.
Fees and Financial Aid
- UoD is a central affiliated university that offers courses with a minimal amount of fee structure , mine is Rs 8000 (eight thousand INR) year wise consisting of 2 Semesters. -Approximately 45,000 INR , that is an aggregate amount of tuition fees, examination form fees. -Socities are there that offers internship, otherwise college provides internship facilities in 5th and 6th semester.
Campus Life
Universtity of Delhi provides a happening enviornment to the students by offering annual fests , departmental fests ,NCC fests, Society fest and many more. - You can find various books , published by different authors on a national and international level. north campus colleges provides you with an enhanced infrastructure but colleges lying in off campus are poorly managed. - Average sports activities but college is full of extracurricural activites. - There are numerous clubs and socities in college for encompassing activities like social welfare, women safety, ethnic regional clubs , singing , dancing , techincal, poetry, literature , list goes on.
Admission
- Eligiblity of this course is that a student must have cleared class 12th Board exam as well as CUET, irrespective of any Stream he/she has chosen. - Initially the aspirent must register himself/herself through CUET, and then choose University Of Delhi as an aspiring college. with the specific program under which he/she wants to enroll himself/herself. -Reservation is granted as per the reserved category ( SC,ST,OBC-Non Creamy ) , No reservation is allotted to General category. -The exams are scheduled with enough preperation time with moderate level of difficulty. - information Bulletin should be compact to minimize the confusion that takes place in the mind of students while enrolling.
