Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course based upon my interest and I really like this course and the course is used in real life applications. There are no improvement . The frequency of the exams are irrelevant and the difficulty level is from easy to moderate.

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Roles offered are from tech is SDE, ml , web developer.. Companies for example amazon ,barclays ,google. Projects are done from tech and core side and the stipend is from 60,000 to 2,00,000. And the internship opportunities are quite good.

Placement Experience

The campus placements Overall is good from 7 th semester the students are eligible there 200 to 300 companies visited . The highest package war 2.5cr nad The average was 26.5lacs. Percentage of students getting placed is 92%

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no tuition fee hike beacause it is affiliated with the central government. The fees is 1200000 per annum which is included in the tuition service fee and hostel fee. Scholarships are not provided or financial aid for reservation candidates.

Campus Life

There are so many fests tech fest which is techniche, sports fest spirit north east , cultural fest alcheringa, There is central library including all books and all journals, and coming to sports the campus has best infrastructure.

Admission

The admission process is good. I took jee advanced exam and it's cut off for me is 60 and the eligibility is from 17 -19 years the frequency of the exam is 2 times a year. The college details should be asked more

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

The placement of Assam engineering College is average as compared to the other colleges like iit and not. Aec gives placement around 20-24 lakhs and many company parts in the placement cell and many of the students get their dream job

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

I chose IIT Guwahati because of a strong IIT brand , excellent placements and comparetively lower fees. Compare to other IIT's it provied good campus expreience and less academic pressure. Compare to other NIT's , private colleges ,IIT Guwahati stands out in every fields. If one coudn't make it too higher IIT's it's because of not elegible after the JEE advanced rank as competition is very intense. Detailed and Unbiased Review

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
