Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum isn't that tough to be honest and every year we have two semesters and in every semester we have mid semesters and then the finals. The results are out soon and that is how we sail through.
Internships Opportunities
Many content writing companies such as Infolian, Gainers India and others gave internships. There's a placement cell in our college which looks after internships and one just has to approach the cell and internships were taken care of by them.
Placement Experience
Placements started from the 7th semester and companies like E&Y, Bain Capitals, & Kent Ro among other recruiter nearly 40% of the students. Overall 60% of the students were placed and the median of the package was 450000. PepsiCo India gave the highest placement to one of our batchmate with an annual package of 12LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total course fees of Janki Devi Memorial College is 45-50000. Yes, there are many scholarships like students of SC/ST are given fees waiver. Even students coming under PWD category gets some fees waiver. Scholarships in our college ranges from 10-100%.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is Symphony which is held in January or February every year. The college is in Karol Bagh and therefor commuting is very easy. Library is huge and it is centrally air-conditioned. The college has huge basketball courts. The college has an open air auditoriums and it can accomodate over a 1000 students at a time.
Admission
I applied online through Delhi University website. The cut off for the college was 96 percentile. We have to fill out desired college and as per cut-off we get the college. Since it's centralized admission system the process was very smooth and once the list was out, I just went to the admin office, paid the fees and my admission was confirmed.
