in shivalik college of engineering the course are based on the latest sylbus & modern studies.The course giving the knowledge of course outcomes college is coming under Uttrakhand technical university.The whole syllabus and test are based upon the Uttarakhand technical university.Total examination per semester are 3.two sessional and one end semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

College providing internships but they are paid internships wher we are paying in internships.But very low internship providing by the college is very low. such companie are only providing internships like 2-3 companies like academoe,mnc & pregrad.I request to my college to increase the internships for the college.

Placement Experience

shivalik on campus placement is good from 5 semester students are eligible for the oncampus placement.Such companies which are visited in our college line infosys, googlr, amazon ,netflix , autodesk and etc.The college average package is 400000/year. and highest package is 4200000.Last year shivalik placement percentage is 93%.My plan was to take placement from the campus. after such year I want to open my company.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees for Btech course are: Regestration fes : 10000 Academic fees per year : 103900 per year. I am a day scholar student so i opt. Transportation facility provided by the college is the fees is 15000 per year. Hostel fees for hostlers those who need -80000 per year. security deposit fee which is refundable: 3000

Campus Life

My overall experince is good in shivalik college of engineering the whole campus is good all students are living in harmony. College have APJ abdul kalam library which is established in 2008. The library carries all semester books with new editions.Colleges created clubs for students to upgrade their skills that helps us in future like Coding club,sports,cultural and etc.College havi UK27 battalion of NCC and NSS.

Admission

I am finding so many college for btech but i choose shivalik college of engineering because the college feees and palcement is good for me.I take my admission online by booking my appointment with shivalik college of dehradun.I am visit shivalik of college after booking my slot for regestration fee that was 10000 and the academic fee is 103900 per year.I pay both of them in june.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I choose this college of others because i wanted to continue to study in a budget friendly and well reputable college of dehradun. No i didn't get any rejection cause i dont applied in any another college. The admission process is so simple you just have to pay 10k to reserve your seat then you have to pay 15k for the admission fee and then the other process you got at college and the eligibility to get admission is 50% in intermediate....Read More

SCE is best in Dehradun

Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. One just have to come to the college and seal the deal by filling the admission form. We are informed on call, mail and WhatsApp if our name is there in the cut-off list.
