Entrance Preview
This college is very near to my house. And my schoolmates who got admission there early suggested joining there as it is a good college. The college comes under IHRD and provides everybody a calm and quiet atmosphere for their any activity. This is enough for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
I elected computer science as my subject. The college has about three computer labs and they all are pretty good. The college is a new one and we can experience the freshness in each thing there. The course planning is good and they finish the syllabus on time.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the internships are provided by Bosch, Wipro, etc. There are a lot of companies coming but I couldn't remember them now.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the college is very active. In our college, there are three or more students in the third year is already selected by some companies and as they got placed, they can relax and enjoy life. The faculties are pretty supportive of this kind of things and they motivate us to a very good extent
College Events
The college has many organized events. Daksha arts and Daksha yantra are the chief ones. The college also conducts dancing competition rather than Daksha, and the dancing teams from various other colleges come there to compete. Last year our college was the winner. The only bad thing is the search for sponsorships.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure as per the government rules and regulations. The merit seat has a fee of 35000 per year. And the management seat has a fee of 65000 per year. The management seat is easily available and even for a poor kid, it is pretty affordable. They provide various scholarships also.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah, there are lot of scholarships awarded to the kids. And it is pretty easy to get too. Almost all scholarship are for guys whose income is under one lakh.
Campus Life
There is no such thing as a campus here. There are just a few branches, few students and the college is quite small. In our class, we have equal number of boys and girls. The workshop executing is done by various cells like IEEE,etc. They provide Workshops for the fresher's to familiarize and enhance knowledge and skills.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel here. The students from distant place need to take a room outside to stay. The food outside is determined by our money strength. The college takes special care about the students staying outside and away from their home and that is a good thing.
Alumni/Alumna
As I said earlier, the population of the college is very low. Most of the senior students who passed out come and coordinate the programs and events. They even sponsor the events. The alumni network is pretty strong.
Exam Structure
There are two series exams before the final semester examinations. The series exams include both theory and practical. The marks of the series examinations are calculated for the internal mark valuation. This gives us a chance for us to decide our internals rather than the faculty.
Admission
I scored a good mark in the entrance exam. And applying for the college via the centralized allotment process or CAP. The college is pretty unknown in this area and hence the rush of children to this is very low. And it was so easy to get admission here. They offer both management and merit seats. And I got admitted in the Merit. If somebody is looking for a college that would provide great comfort and you could opt here. The cutoff here is very low.
Faculty
The faculties are very good and they cooperate with us in every way they can. The classrooms are very silent as the whole campus. There are only a few courses there, and so there are just a few students. This the campus is very silent and the less number of students makes us the king and queens of the college.
