Likes
- The campus firstly provide tobacco free, smoking free and alcohol free environment which provides a neat and clean environment.
- There are ac rooms in health and science block and overall the whole university has been constructed in a well symmetric manner.
- The faculty present in upes are highly skilled and some of the faculty gives special guidence and time to the students.
Dislikes
- During the time of entry in the campus we all have to take long route for the classes as the security officials do not allow the students to move infront of the reception from 9-11 AM.
- If a faculty is not present then maximum times the information is given whem the student reaches to the university campus which leads to wastage of time.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the curriculum of the university i think that the university should focus on practical knowledge more than the theoritical knowledge because theory stays in our mind till the end sem exams and then it vanishes but i think that it will stay for longer period of time with practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Till now i have got a sociel internship from my college of 2 months with 0 stipend and have to do a lots of work socially other than that till now college have not provided any internship till date in the term of 2 years.
Placement Experience
After 5th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like micrsoft ,prodegy, amazon ,google and other 127 companies visits the campus yearly . The highest package last year was 55 lpa givn by microsoft. And the average pacage is 8 lpa. 60% students gets campus placements. I will also go for in campus placements after degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The campus provides an entrance exam on which basis a merit list is formed and the top 500 students get the scholarship which is valid until the student scores an 8 cgpa and 90% attendance throughout the semister. As I am in my second year, I don't have much knowledge about the placement activities.
Campus Life
In upes, I am living a good campus life. There are two big fests every year one is urja which is a cultural fest and another is spandan which is a sports fest. Every student can access libraries each and every book. Any student can run the club whichever they want and can also create a student chapter as per their choice.
Admission
The admission process was done with the help of an entrance exam whose fee was 1350 rupee and was conducted in an online mode it was 90 minutes and consisted of 100 questions about maths science and general knowledge. I was in the general category so no reservation was alloted. I think that it was in a good way and no improvement is needed.
Faculty
One faculty takes approximately 5 classes each class consists of 2 batches and one batch consists of 35 students. So a faculty teaches 70 students at a time which leads to less learning during the lecture. We can hardly interact with the faculty during and after the lecture due to the high strength of the class.
