Review of BCE BHAGALPUR

I have chosen Mechanical Engineering in BCE Bhagalpur because I want to study only two core branches, i.e., Electrical and Mechanical, but I do not have Electrical in BCE, So I am studying Mechanical branch. The other reason for choosing Mechanical was that two of my elder brothers have their Engineering in EEE and Civil. So, I chose Mechanical so that the core team gets completed.

I am here in the first semester, so I am not aware of which semester students are eligible, but one of my seniors, who is in the fifth semester, has got a good off-campus placement. Many companies like TCS, BYJU'S, and some others companies often visit campus for placement Drives. We have a Training and Placement cell in our college, which is quite active for the placement of students. the

Now talking about Fees, the total academic fees (including exams, tuition fee, Miscellaneous, etc), our total fees per year is Rs 14613 (fourteen thousand and six hundred thirteen) and a single time registration fee of Rs 2100, besides that our Hostel charge is Rs 12000 (12k)per year and Mess charge of Rs 25000(25 k). So this is our overall expenses for a year in BCE BHAGALPUR. Out of which, Academic fees of Rs 14613 will be credited back to us through a scholarship program named Post Matric scholarship. The government of Bihar also provides a facility of loans for its students named Bihar Student Credit Card. In this scheme, you can get a loan of up to 4 lakhs for you. The placements here are ok for all branches, but please don't expect a placement like an NIT or IIT's. If you are ready to work on your own and prepare for Government Exams or GATE, etc, then this college is the best option for you in Bihar at a low cost.

Our College organizes several annual and Technical festivals like Technoriti, and Robotics competitions every year, which is a treat to take part in. Now, coming to the Library, we have a very big library which has several books available. Separate Sections for all branches have been made for the ease of students. I am spending a part of my day in the library, and I am very proud of my decision. We have all types of classrooms in BCE, i.e., Traditional classrooms, smart classrooms, etc in our college. Our College has successfully organized its Annual sports fest in which almost all sports were played, and winners took part in the college sports Competition, which too was also held in our college then Winners participated in state-level sports competitions organized by DSTTE for BEU colleges. Our college has several clubs like Campus TV and Radio, Nukkad Club for Drama, ESROS for Robotics, and so on. These clubs regularly organized events for students.

Now, coming to the Hostel Facility, First-year students get Triple bed accommodation in H-6 (New Hostel). So, each Room has three beds,3 Almirahs, and three sets of study tables and Chairs. So overall, it's a pleasure to live in Hostel H-6. The quality of Meal is quite okay, but cannot be called best. We have a variety of foods available in Hostels. The staff of Hostels and Mess are the best at their job. They sometimes, on request, send Food to Rooms if you are not feeling good. Rooms, washrooms, corridors, and Stairs are cleaned on an everyday basis. It is not difficult to get a Hostel in BCE.BCE provides every student with Hostel accommodation (if they want). The Hostel fee is Only rs 12000 per year, and the Mess charges are Rs 25000 per year.

The Minimum eligibility of this Course is that Student must qualify for the JEE Mains Exam. Most of the students in Bihar Engineering come through JEE MAINS.BCECE Board conducted its counselling called UGEAC (Under Graduthe ate Engineering admission counselling). The registration fee for UGEAC Counselling is Rs 1200, and based on that, a separate Merit list is Prepared. After that, a Rank card is published and After that, choice filling starts. Another way of admission to Bihar Engineering is by taking the BCECE Exam, which is conducted by the BCECE Board every year. But for that, seats left after JEE MAINS counselling is used. So a few seats are available for that. Like other colleges, BEU also conducts semester exams for its students every six months, but sometimes, there are delays due to some reasons, like our semester is running late for the 2K23 Batch. My experience with admission was not good.

The faculty-to-student ratio might not be meeting the standards of UGC, but now things are improving. The Bihar Government has appointed so many Teachers through BPSC (Using the GATE score). We have so many wonderful and kind teachers in our colleges who motivate us a lot to do hard work in our lives and to reach a good position in our lives. Since all Teachers are appointed after qualifying for GATE and BPSC, they must be of surely brilliant minds. Teachers often come up with new methods of teaching. They work hard a lot so that we understand every concept. They are always available to us, and we can contact them whether we have problems regarding academics or personal problems in life. Overall, most faculty members of my College are the Best at their job.
