Remarks

The city is friendly so this college is the crowd isn’t friendly and good. There’s no racism or any other thing. The college is clean and green The staff is good but if you don’t know Marathi you may face a problem finding friends. College is pocket-friendly

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is widely used and in my experience, it’s a good choice. You can opt for physics or chemistry or electronics. Geology or zoology or botany with Maths. In the second year, you can drop one subject except for maths

Placement Experience

2.5

No, they don’t provide internship or something

College Events

3.5

There’s a whole dedicated to college fest at the end of the year in December There is department fest for 2 days Ethnic day Saree/tie day Foundation day Which includes day DJ

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible the Maharashtrian students have less than outsiders but it’s very feasible for BSc in autonomous it’s less than 10k. For self-granted in BA or taking EEM. French, German as an optional subject then it goes to 50000"

Fees and Financial Aid

There are so many scholarships available to Maharashtrian students and also to a student with reservations

Campus Life

4

Labs are highly maintained Equipment is working Chemistry lab physics lab etc are nicely maintained The college has its own Gymkhana Basketball court Indoor badminton court Cricket and football ground

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful From helping you to learn new things to give you new ideas for the departmental fest. Alumni network is good you get to attend their lecture and tips what to go ahead and also what they used to do in their college life.

Admission

First, they release the merit list. The list is based on a percentage of 12th class marks. The list contains admission for students who have marks according to the list. Then after a week they release new list and keep on doing it also lowers the marks criteria. Until the required number of students get selected

Faculty

4

The faculty is good and most of the teachers have postgraduate degrees and some professors have PhD

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
