Course Curriculum Overview

B.Sc is Three years, full-time programme and in this programme a total of 6 semesters. This college has developed a unique and multidisciplinary training programme for design and this large professional sector.

There are many placement/internship opportunities given by the college every semester for the summer and winter breaks or even during the period. This Institute seems to have tie-ups with well-established companies. I would not miss any opportunity to get into one.

There are many events celebrated in my college like Chef Educator of the Year award. Each and every festival of India was celebrated in my colleges such as Deepawali, Holi, Republic day, Independence day, and many more.

For the first year, the fee may be 3.7 Lakhs. I know fees are high but according to the Facilities they have given to me it is ok.

I got to know about this college through my friends. First, I visited my college’s website and filled the admission form. Then I was supposed to give the SET exam which was basically an entrance test to enter into Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts.

Faculty

The faculty here is so good and experienced. The staff of the college is always ready to help students and they try to teach everything they know. Courses offered are B.Sc. in Culinary Arts and Diploma In Bakery And Patisserie Skills etc.

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
