- one of the things to be considered in this aspenct is the size of the cohort is very huge. the college accepts a lot of applications every year especially for the course of Computer science Engineering which results in more competition among the
- students, which can be unhealthy mentally for the student sometimes.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is more like any other engineering college and it remains the same for all the colleges at least initially through the first year of the course. second year onwards the curriculum becomes specialisatioin specific in order to offer deep knowledge of the subjects.
Internships Opportunities
the university offers on campus internships to the students ehich include social, as well as coorporate internships in all the different specialisations. The internship oppurtunities are good and help students in their professional career.
Placement Experience
The university does offer on camous internships and placements to the stuents. various big tech companies are seen in the campus in the placement season. the highest package can go as high as 50lpa whereas the average package lies around 10lpa for my course
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of education here at UPES is a little higher than some other engineering colleges. but yes there are scholarship oppurtunities based in your entrance marks, class 12th grade, your JEE mains score. The continuation of the internship depends on your performance and attendence in the previous semesters.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the university is the main highlight here. the campus is spread through a vast area and the different cohorts have seperate schools thus avoiding clashes and conjusted environment. The social life of the university is also pretty good and the uni organises many fests and events for the students to enjoy throughout the year.
Admission
The admission process for this university was rather seemless and was accompnied by a member of the enrollment offices at all times from applying for the college to the final fee payment and on campus assisstance.. The admission to the Btech comouter science can be done through various modes like: a specific entrance examination conducted by the university, admission through JEE mains scores as well as your class 12th marks. The scholarships are also offered according to the same, on the basis of your scores.
Faculty
The people of faculty at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is qualified and has a deep knowledge of their respective subjects. The faculty is very supportive if the students are disciplined in the class and even offers projects to work with them and build up a strong resume for our career.
