Course Curriculum Overview
The electrical course is a vast course. It helps me to gain various knowledge about the working of various generation plants. It gives information of how electricity is transmitted from different parts to different parts. The course also helps me to know how the consumers are supplied with electricity.
Internships Opportunities
There are availability of internship in the institution under the professors of the institute. The students have to complete Various projects and report work for their internship period. The students are also provided with the facility to work with a professor in a research paper work.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. There are many companies that visit the institute for placement like Amazon, HPCL, Power Grid, Accenture, Indian Oil, BharatBenz, Godrej, Citi, ITC, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Reliance Power, TVS, Tata Motors, IBM, Oracle, Phillips, and many more. The highest package various from company to company. And the average package for the students of the institute is 9 to 10 lakh per annum. The placement percentage is around 80 to 85 percentage in the institution.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is a problem for many students. As it is a government college the fees should be a little less. The academic fees for a student in a semester is Rs.72,600 which is a vast amount for many families. The hostel fees is also Rs. 22,500 which is also much higher. The institute is also quite strict in collection of such huge amount of fees from the students.
Campus Life
The institute held various fests in the year. The main technical fest of the institute is Tecnoesis. And the main cultural fest is Incandescence. Besides these fests the institute also celebrates various functions and festivals throughout the year which help the students to get a refreshment in their lives. The institute also held various sports tournaments like the inter hostel tournament, Futsal tournament, Cricket tournament, basketball tournament, volleyball tournament and various sports activities. There are also many clubs in the institution which are run by the students of the institute.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms in the hostels are average. The 1st year students are provided with double rooms in a separate hostel. The 2nd year students are provided with double and triple rooms. The 3rd year students are provided with double and triple rooms. The 4th Year students are provided with single rooms. The quality of food in the mess of various hostel is not good. Many complaints are raised by the students against the food quality but no action is taken against it. The hostels are allotted to the students when they are registering for a particular semester.
Admission
The admission is through the JOSAA counseling process after completion of the JEE Mains examination. After I cleared JEE Mains I secured 90 percentile in the examination and I got a seat in the Electrical Engineering course of the institute and got admitted to the course. And now currently studying the course.
Faculty
The faculty members are too nice. They help each student to gain as much knowledge as possible for the students. They are helpful in various terms. The availability of the faculty members is also good. They are available for doubt clearing sessions also. They help the students in learning and also if the students get in trouble in any situation in the institution.
