Yes, I have applied for other colleges as well, like JAYPEE Noida, but the main thing is that they are not offering the Computer Science branch there, and it was also quite far from my home. I chose COER as it was an old college like founded in 1996, so it has a legacy, and the faculty are also very experienced, most of whom are doing PhDs from IIT Roorkee itself.
