Course Curriculum Overview
Overall due to the National Education Policy, the course is designed in such a manner to improve the practical knowledge of students. The syllabus is very nicely designed which helps in the study of other competitive exams like IIT JAM, TIFR and other master entrance exams.
Internships Opportunities
Talking about internships , there are only unpaid internships provided by college professors. But very less , like 10% of overall faculty which provides internships. Since I'm working under my professor , I observed there are very less number of professors who provides internship.
Placement Experience
As far as I know , this course is for research oriented students and 90% of students choose further studies over placements. Talking about placements, FC provides campus placements and companies like Lupin , Cipla and other well known pharmaceutical companies recruit from FC. Average package is around 4.5 to 5LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
3 years complete course costs around 48k. I think it's very affordable. Also, various scholarships are provided by government and non government bodies. About employment , I think most of students who select this course are dedicated towards research and further studies as compare to employment and jobs.
Campus Life
Overall college is very good , provided various platforms for students to improve their skills and hobbies along with studies. Fests are one of the best part of college life. Ferguson college is famous for their fests. There are many clubs in college which provides platform for students to develope their living life skills.
Admission
At my time, the round one cutoff was 78% in boards and the round two cutoff was 75%. But due to the National Education Policy, this year there is no cutoff for admission, they provide 1st come 1st basis admission. It's a partially online process, students must be present in college for final document verification.
Faculty
Faculty are most of PhD holders with good research and teaching experience. Faculty to student ration is around 1:8 or something which is good. Most professors are friendly in nature guides very well, easily approachable.
