good campus placement and best faculties
best environment with calm nature you will get peace
sports facilities are available and they are excellent

Dislikes

long stressing classes and fees is too high
too far from the home and everybody complains about it
faculties are strict as well as lenient there are not good faculties in 1st and second year

course is good btech is really good in upes ..before COVID the packages were really good but now it's hard for students to get placed due to lay off but overall placements are good and it specially f depends on students how he want to study

fees is but high in University of petroleum and energy studies I do agree fees they take is really high a normal middle class can't able to afford that you will mostly see students coming from rich households

campus Life is really good in University of energy studies Dehradun..you will see full mountains surrounded you will.surely enjoy the nature and you will love it..it has clubs and hey are very helpful for your well-being

Admission

admission process was quiet cimple only they asked about entrance exam and offer letter came through the mail they can take the admission on school boards percent ad well as your jee percentage so it's easy to get in

Faculty

faculty members qualification are really good they know how to treat students how to teach .but some of the faculties don't have specified knowledge about their subjects they are graduated from top colleges still they have some lack of teaching skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!
