NIT KURUKSHETRA- GOOD FOR ENGINEERING LIFE

Most of the college management is responsible and accountable but we always find some who don't come under this category and we should ignore them for all the advantages that the institute provides us.

The environment in which it is present has attracted me. Moreover, college being 100 percent ragging free was also the main reason which created a good relationship with seniors and juniors as well. The extracurricular activities along with the fests being conducted would also allow students to choose this institute where they can learn and live life.

Curriculum to our batch of 16-20 is good with the subjects covering both electronics and communication engineering along with the computer engineering.we will be thaught with the subjects of all the branches in our first year and then taken to core from 2nd year. Practical sessions are also conducted. Now for the present batch they will be having a while semester i.e 6th semester to do their internship.

No, college doesn't provide an internship. We need to search our own for an internship but college gives a recommendation letter from its side to help us join in that institute or industry.

We have packages that are above 10 lakh and also packages that are below 5 lakh per annum. ECE students have a choice to take any of the cs or ECE companies. We have c dog and Samsung visiting us almost every year either in cs profile or in ECE profile.apart from these many companies recruitment teams visit our campus every year.

Almost all important days like Oct 2nd Aug 15 and many more are celebrated by students along with the staff in the Jubilee Hall of our institute. Apart from these, we have TECHSPARDHA as our annual technical fest and confluence as our annual cultural fest which is organized by the student committees with the help of teachers.

The fee structure is common for all the national institute of technology and it is feasible for all type of students mainly for those who have a concession in name of caste or income based. We also have a bank(SBI) in the campus for those who want to open an account or have a loan for fee purpose

The loan can be availed from bank present in our institute itself.scholorship is provided for department rankers and the information is available on our institute website.

Campus life is so good but girls have a restriction for their timing to roam outside the hostel. the institute is involved in almost all the extracurricular activities like dance sports yoga indoor games and many more. Interested students can join in the team and participate. We have fully furnished labs for all the subjects that require practical knowledge competitions, debates and many more are held every year in the institute and students are sent to other institutes for participation as well.

Hostel facilities are good and mess can be considered average overall. There is no non-veg or egg available in a mess as it is banned in Kurukshetra considering it as a holy place.mess would be good for those who are from North and south students staying there may face some problems to adjust there for days or even months.

We have alumni association that conducts alumni talks with students and keeps us in contact with the alumni. Seniors are so helpful in all the required cases.

We will be having 2 internal exams named as mid-semester and one external exam as semester exams for each semester.internal exam is of 15 marks each and the external is of 50 marks for each theoretical subject.10 marks for teacher assessment and 10 marks for attendance. For a practical exam, it includes 60 marks for internal and 40 marks for the external exam

After getting the seat allocation through josaa we need to reach the Institute on the date specified by the institute along with the required documents and proofs mentioned in the website. Then we will be given a unique roll no and also be provided with the hostel room as well if required. we need to pay the fee at the time of admission.

We have an excellent faculty who have done Ph.D. in their respective areas but we also have some faculty whom we can't understand well so we also should be ready for self-study sometimes. Marking scheme and all are so good but we won't be having a relative grading system in our college.
