Course Curriculum Overview
Previously cbcs pattern was followed but now NEP ( new education policy) pattern is being followed. There are lot of societies also which gives opportunities to students to participate in various co-curricular activities. The exams are held after every 6 months and the level of exam is good ( moderate).
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee varies from course to course. Science courses have little more fees because praticals are also involved in there courses. But, you can complete your graduation from here in 60-80k. Various scholarships are also provided by the college and university. They give scholarship to those students whose financial conditions are not good.
Campus Life
The campus life is good in Shivaji college. There are lots of events happening all around the year. Vibrationd is the annual cultural fest of this college. The college has hosted various celebrity in vibrations like jubin nautiyal, anki tiwari, etc . There are various cultural clubs also in this college. Students can join these clubs on the basis of their interest.
Admission
Previously, the admission was done on the basis of merit. Your board marks was the basis for admission. But, now the admission to this college ( Delhi University) is being done on the basis of cuet score. After the result of the cuet you have to separately apply for Delhi University and choose preference. Now they will assign you college on the basis of your cuet score.
Faculty
The faculties in Shivaji college are very well qualified. They all interact with students except some. Although professors only take classes in honours courses. They don't provide classes of professors in programme courses. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:50.
