Likes
- The infrastructure is pretty good, there are air conditioned classes available so students can be comfortable
- The campus size is quite big and its nicee, you have a lot of places to explore within the campus.
- the sports faclities here are very good, you get to play any sport you want except for tennis
Dislikes
- They have closed the 6 month leave earlier given for internships so we have to apply for it off campus
- College development is not taking place and its rank is declining
- the location of college is not good it is located in a remote area
Course Curriculum Overview
The course offered is just like any other B.Tech course in electronics and communication in inidan colleges. Their is not much difference. You will learn the same course in any other college however since the students are smart and the faculties are more qualified it makes the course more effective
Placement Experience
So the placement opportunity is quite good because of the NIT tag. But because of the location several good companies do not employ from our college like google meta etc. Companiues like microsoft adobe come to the college for recruitment . about 70% of the students get placed and avg package is about 13-15 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for general candidates is includes 76000 semester fees and approx 60000 for 1yr hostel rent. For EWS category they have to pay 16000 and the semester fee is not charged for ST/SC candidates. However the hostel rent remains the same for all irrespective of category
Campus Life
There a lot of socieities and clus in the college. Also there a societies which are working for the education of poor children and there are socieites which work in direction of blood donation and supplt this blood to the needy. You can explore a lot of options apart from acaedmics in the college
Hostel Facilities
The 1st year hostels are quite old but they are renovated from time to time, Hostel is mandatory for everyone whose house is more than 7km from the college.The 2nd year hostels are quitw good and new . The food is amazing. there are 2 hostels for girls also. You also get in-hostel gyms in girls hostel
Admission
So the admission process is quite simple , you have to get a good percentie in JEE MAINS aboutn 98-99 to get admission in this college. Then there is JOSAA counselling. After that physical reporting happens where the documents get verified.
Faculty
The faculty members are highle qualified, most of them being graduates from NITs and IITs. The teaching method of some of the faculties is quite good and its explanation is also better. The student teacher ration is just like any other college i.e 1:70.
