- Ambience of the college: The college is constructed away from city sounds with a perfect ambience.
- Cultural Activities: The college management organizes various cultural events every semester.
Dislikes
- Mess Food: The mess food quality is not up to the mark. Sometimes it's good but sometimes not.
- Classes: The classes are not equipped with ACs which makes it difficult for the students to attend classes in summers.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good enough to maintain an equal balance between academics and real-world applications. The curriculum needs to be more aligned towards academic syllabus as there are many classes that are added to the curriculum but are not in the semester syllabus. The college management organizes an exam after every two months. So, in a semester we have a total of three exams including two sessionals and one end-sem.
Internships Opportunities
The college provide with a summer internship at the end of every even semester in IITs which are very helpful for the logic building and placements. The projects developed during the internship are of great value in the resume.
Placement Experience
There are a lot of campus placements available inthe college. The college conducts various additional classes from the curriculum for placement and GATE exam. The average placement of the college is 6lpa and the highest placement till now is 48lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee remains same for the four years of graduation. The completion cost of the whole education(graduation degree) is about 8lakhs. Their is a TFW criteria for financially weak students, no scholarship is available. Final year students can undertake campus employment by teaching the junior year students.
Campus Life
Their are various clubs and committees in the college related to different things, like, for cultural events, for linguistics related events, for technical events. Apart from there clubs and committees their are 5 different dance groups in the college. Also, their is a Sports Committee in the college that comprises of various sports like, cricket, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, football, kabbadi, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The mess menu is average but sometimes the quality of the food is not good enough to be edible. The registration process for the hostel is mentioned in the official website of the college. The hostel fees is affordable, for single seater non-Ac is 120000. The locality have several both boys and girls PG or rented room at an affordable price.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is that you should have completed your (10+2) with 75% above percentage in Science. The application form, application fees, and application dates are all available in the official website of COER University. The entrance exam is conducted once in a year and the difficulty level is average.
Faculty
Most of the faculty members have their graduations and PHDs from IITs and IIMs. The teaching methodologys of the teachers is upto the mark. Various activities are conducted by the faculties for improving the interaction between the students and teachers. The faculty to students ratio is about 1:50 which is good enough for interactive and engaging classes.
