Course Curriculum Overview
So according to NEP 22 our curriculum was changed by UGC. Which put more emphasis more on the skill rather than the theory part. The exams are conducted in every 5 months. And is of 180 (included external and internal marks)of 3 hr within 2 weeks.
Internships Opportunities
Placement Cell, Shivaji College Shivaji College has a very active Placement Cell that works round the year to provide internship and employment opportunities to its students. The cell also organizes skill development workshops, seminars, and talks that give students ample insight into the scenario prevailing in the current job market. Students can register themselves at the College Placement Portal for getting updates and participating in placements/internships drives and participating in these. The cell also coordinates with the Central Placement Cell of the University of Delhi to ensure that students also h access to opportunities provided by the University Campus. Every year, Placement Cell also conducts a survey to analyze the interest of students in placement and internship opportunities and plans the activities accordingly.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course is around 17000 to 20000 /Yr. The university provides with scholarships to those who's house told income is between 4 lakh to 8 lakh 50%of the is cut. And those students who's family income is lower than 4 lakh they don't have to pay any fees.
Campus Life
Shivaji college hosats annual cultural fest 'Vibration'. Our college have the largest collection of books in DU. Every room have projecters through which teachers teach ous. Our have many societies to take part.
Admission
Eligibility for my course is 10+2 with any stem with a passing marks of 50% from any recogniesed board .The application form is available in CSAS portal. If you want to get admission in DU you have to take CUET.
Faculty
The ratio of student's and teachers is 16:1 for every 16 students there is 1 teacher. We have 4 computer labs, 2 chemistry labs, 2 physics labs, biology lab, 1 Botany lab and 1 Geography lab. Teacher's are highly qualified.
