Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was influenced to choose this course because i was interested in technologies . And ever since the covid pandemic broke down every one was switching to digital world giving us more opportunities and make new inventions to help in betterment in digital world.

Placement Experience

3

Semester in which students are eligible for campus placements - 6th sem Companies visited till now - Google, PWC, TCS, Vipro, Amazon, Netflix, Tech mahindra, etc Highest package - 47 Lpa Average package - 6 Lpa Percentage of students getting placed - 60% The companies i want to get placed in are google, Microsoft, Accenture and the companies that offers good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

My year wise fees(in total) : 195300 Tuition fees : 98300 Hostel fees : 87000 + 10000( double seater) Internet charges : 500 Erp charges : 500 Library charges : 1000 Annual activity charges : 1000 Modernization and infrastructure charges : 1250 The college doesn't provide any scholarships benefits for minor caste but it may provide some financial aid in merit cum need category.

Campus Life

2.5

Freshers are held for new students every year. Cultural fests are also held that lasts for 2 days - traditional and cultural Different clubs organize different activities. Annual sports meet is also held. There are courses book available of different publishers but they don't have any novels. Many clubs like literature club, Girls up club, craft club, cultural club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

Facilities provided in hostel rooms: Double seater , three seater and four seater rooms are available. 24*7 Wi-Fi facility is available in hostel. Hot water tap is provided in washroom and for drinking during winters. Laundry facilities are also provided. Meal quality and menu hear is really messed up as the name suggest MESS:) In comparison to other college hostel registration process is much easier and affordable . We haven't tried to get a pg but their rooms are quite small as compared to our hostel rooms.

Admission

I applied different colleges in bangalore , chennai but it was difficult to adapt to southern culture. I also applied in delhi and MP but didn't like due to the crowd. Dehradun is quite peaceful and has great weather which makes it favourable for any one to adapt easily. I appeared for jee but my percentile was not good enough to get into my dream college in the course i wanted to opt. The admission process of this college is very smooth . You just have to provide them the marksheets and other certificates and submit your fees.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio - 1:15 Faculties are helpful and cooperative in nature. They can easily be approached whenever you have any doubts. Faculties I liked - Prof. Hemant Tripaathi - Prof. Nisha Mehra - Prof. Vijayalakshmi Sajwan - Prof. Akanksha Pundir They were really helpful and approachable regarding for clearing my doubts in subjects like dbms, java, oops. Faculty i don't like : Prof. Sartaj Khan He was our DSA faculty and he is quite arrogant and can be aggressive. Exams per year - Monthly test after completion of eacg unit (5 units per semester in each subject ) Per sem university exam after completion of course - 1 Falling and passing of students totally depends on their hardwork and consistency.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
