- I like the greenery of the college. College have a large ground where students can hangout with friends
- Cafeteria is also a good spot to hangout and over your hunger with good food
- Ambience of the labs and cleanliness is good
Dislikes
- Girls to boys ratio is comparatively low as I’m in B.tech course so not many girls opt to pursue this course
- Fights and violence is there which leads to many more dangerous things.
- Hostel mess food is really a mess, from my point of view I didn’t like mess food.
Course Curriculum Overview
My uncle is a alumini of this college and well settled in life so I decided to pursue this course from this college. Some faculty members should be change and improved by being regular and teaching deeply
Placement Experience
Placement is better as compared to relatively other colleges. Average package of COER BTECH CSE is 3-4LPA. After the VI Semester students are eligible for the campus placement 1000 ruppes is the charge for the registration for the campus placement. Percentage of students getting placement is not very good
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees of my course was 2,10,000 annually but through my 12 marksheet I got scholarships and some discounts which finally costed me 1,70,000 annually. Althought I lie in General category there was no such further discounts. All the security fees, caution fees, registration fees, lab and other fees was included in my annual fees which was 1,70,000 Also it includes the uniform that will college admins provide you.
Campus Life
College organises various functions as of now Ganesh chaturthi is there, so we have large murti of Ganesh ji in our campus. Deepsandhya is organised on the occasion of Diwali Biggest fest of the college is organised only once a year named 'ZION' which included big superstars like Honey Singh, Sherly Setia , Gurnam Bhullar A lots of social groups and dance groups are there.
Admission
I choose this college as it have a better infrastructure as compared to relatively local colleges. I didn't get rejection from other colleges, my first choice was this college only. Admission process is not very lengthy and time consuming. Just enroll yourself by the paper works and pay your fee on time.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is well and good. Most of the faculty is very helpfull in nature, also very kind and friendly. Dr.Mohit Gupta is such a humble person, was once a faculty to me and teacher mathematics to us. He made us feel like engineering maths is a easy thing. Mr. Vipin Jaiswal is a registration faculty I didn't like. Not very friendly and rude. Every semester there are two internals, sometimes 3 also. Easy paper of external
