- Personally I liked library of hansraj college because it is a quiet place to to study in your free time and it have lot's of books on every stream to boost your knowledge
- The second think i like is LP area where there is lots of social interaction with other stream students irrespective of their gender.
- The staff is also very Friendly and they encourage students to choose your long term goals
Dislikes
- The wifi connectivity in Library and limited availability of seats in Library
- The gym is only open for the students who is in any sports
Course Curriculum Overview
I pursue BA programme in HISTORY and ECONOMICS. It is course of my choice because i want to clear UPSC in my first attempt after the completion of 3 year college degree. This course is over-all better because there is no deep study in it and assignments are also Easy and less time consuming. And the life time is used for social interactions and other enjoyment of college life. The degree have 6 semester of 3 years . Each semester have 1 semester ending exams First in January and second in june. The exams is not that much difficult because only some self study and attention in class can achieve you higher marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
My overall fees for 1st year in BA programme in HISTORY+ECONOMICS is 27000. It is six thousand more than last year fees for same course and year and i am from OBC NCL. But it's worth it because faculty and infrastructure is better in hanraj than other colleges in delhi university.We can join sports too in college which is included in fees only. But the canteen and hostel rent is not included in same.
Campus Life
My overall experience in Hansraj College is better than my school life because here i learn many new new skills like communication with anyone irrespective of their gender,social interaction and society life .I join 2-3 societies of my intrest like one is NSS which is govt body in colleges to improve skills of student in social interaction and responsibilities. And another one is Nistha which is founded for guidance for UPSC aspirants.
Admission
My dream is to take admission in north campus of Delhi university. So my CUET score is 702 and i am from OBC NCL. So i want hindu college but its cutoff is very high so my second preference is hansraj college and I got hansraj college in first round in BA programme (History+economics) and i am fully satisfied with my course and college.
Faculty
The faculty of hansraj is very expert in their field . they are passout of top institutions like JNU,JMI and DU itself.So they have specialization in their respective course of teaching. I like Sarvjeet sir the most. He is passout of JNU and teacher of history Minor.he have calm man personality and his way of teaching is like everyone likes to listen him. There is 2 semester in 1 year for every course and each semester have semester ending exams first in January and second in june.
