Course Curriculum Overview

Btech cse is a course which I had interest in for about 3 years now ....it was clear for me that I wanted to make my career in computers....in first semester they are teaching us C language...This ssubject has continuous evaluation which means we will be getting marks for every class test ..

I am in 1st year and it's been only months I have joined this college so I don't have much idea about internships but you can check on their official website ...you can also check the placement record and many things in the website

Placement Experience

Company come for the placements and the placement record is good....They have 90-95% of placement record...they also give intership opportunities...the highest package given to a student is 50lpa.....

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a good college but the fees structure is high In first semester I paid around 2,50,000 and in the second semester I will be paying around 2,60,000,U can also take student loan and they also have an option of part payment.U can also take scholarship upto 30% by scoring good in jee mains or board exams

Campus Life

My overall experience in the first 2 months here is very good...you have a lot of options of sports...they have many clubs more than 15... Library is the best part of this college..it's very big and u can go and study there any time u want...the infrastructure of this college is very beautiful

Hostel Facilities

I don't live in campus hostels,I have taken hostels outside the campus which is around 50 metres..the price for the hostels are same whether it incampus hostel or outside...Both will be around 1,75,000 to 1,90,000 ...the food is good

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

I got admission in SRM chennai ramapuram but I didn't go there as it was not the main branch of SRM and it was very far away from my home city faridabad...So that's why I took admission in this college

Faculty members are nice and will help you any time if you reach out to them..The mid semester are in the first week of October to 3rd week of October and the end semester are in December...Class test is regularly taken by the faculty members..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
