Course Curriculum Overview

Although it is very good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness because the college has a very rich infrastructure which is built in 50's .the campus is rich in terms of anything.and the course I choose is BA program because a lot of students of this college cracked upsc.so if you are a upsc aspirant you can admire this college in south campus

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 12905 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically this college has the average fee of 12,905 for first year students and the.in second and third year the fee is 10,905.there is not any reservation benefit on academic fees.one want financial help, can fill national scholarship program form for fee refund.the college's internal fee refund system don't work it didn't give refund to any student,the student who enrolled in scholarship program will get nearly about 80-85% of his fees which they've deposited at the time of admission.

Campus Life

Overall experience was good ,the metro connectivity,food near college ,the area where college is situated and overall experience was quite good ,the library was rich with a lot of books,classrooms are spacious and ventilated but there is no air conditioning in classrooms,overall societies and placement cell is better option if you join them from the beginning otherwise it will not work for you.

Admission

I have never applied in any other college because I only wanted to get into this college bacuase of the faculty and the connectivity to metro by this college,the admission procedure was fine they didn't bother you for your documents or any other things.so that is why I chooses this college over any other college.

Faculty

The faculty members are quite good,they didn't make you feel uncomfortable in classes.the assignment submission part is also fine .they allow you to submit your assignments via mails and you don't have to panic about these things

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
