IMPROVING BRAND AND DECREASING QUALITY

Good, yet not great. The college does not help you pursue your ideas.various guest lecture and some medium level workshops are ok.it is the projects that helo you grow. though faculty helps you in your projects.

The course curriculum is good and detailed with domain related subjects also does have practical and theoretical work with a lot of assignments but at the same time, there are some unnecessary subjects too which have no mean to be included in. We had exams twice every semester first is the midterm which was held in mid of semester which contributes to 30% in the final marks and after that, we have end semester at the end of the semester and there are no holidays between the exams and there are regular labs held in the b.tech branch Which do have viva at the end of semesters.

The placement of upes is degrading day by day. As core related companies are not visiting campus and college is trying to improve their campus placement record so they bring marketing, sales or it related companies so that placement record can be improved. Yes, the college does provide the internship during the summer break after the 6th semester of b.tech students. You can either let the college provide the intern or you can do it on your own. Mostly there is no stipend. Companies during my internship were Faurecia,Maruti, etc.

The first event which student gets is the fresher's party for new students in a month of august held on the college campus. each branch has a different party on different days like for BTech on one day and for BBA on the other. Then there is Urja in October or November decided by the college this is the main event of the college like a fest only college students are allowed to attend this. It's a big event the whole college is present & students can participate in things like the war of band etc. Its a 3 day festival on day 2 there is a DJ night and on day 3 there is a band night a band is invited to the college to play. There is also a technical fest where students can participate in events like robo war etc.which also held for 3 days.

For an average college like upes fee is too expensive and they keep on increasing it every semester. different branches have a different fee as for example the CS branch has less fee than then ADE fee. And the fee for the nri students in higher than the normal students.

There is a scholarship if a student scored more then 90% in 12th board exams then there was some scholarship offered for the first semester only and about loan facilities I don't know about it as I did not avail of any but I am sure there are some services.

There are a lot of extracurricular activities like football competitions, cricket competitions, basketball, volleyball, badminton, marathon held for both boys and girls. There are different events also like debates, robowars, treasure hunts.

No, I haven't opted for college students but there are my friends who were in the college hostel and according to the college hostel is good with good services and security .electricity is not a problem and bus service is available for new students to travel to the city in every weekend. A lot of pg's and hostel are available near the campus ranging from 4000-15000 rs per month.

Yes seniors, as well as alumni, are very helpful. They really guide us if we ask them for there help. They have to be respected and they will surely respect you back.ragging is not possible nor any seniors take ragging but they take the introduction of us which they take to know us only and in a friendly manner.

The faculties are average. Some of them work so hard on students to improve their knowledge but many of them just come to the class, open ppt and start uttering words which have written on ppt. Only a few teachers focus on practical knowledge.
