- Train reachability is good. Railway station is close to the campus
- Campus is very large so it is a good place to visit
- Bus service is there for going to the town.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is weak.Buildings aren't renovated
- Airport is very far. But the college bus go to airport
- Girls to boys ratio is very less leading to lesser interaction between them.
Course Curriculum Overview
Relevance of course in first year is very less like we have to learn mechanical tools name but why? There is a chemistry lab too. but it ain't gonna be valuable too. Except mechanics all subjects are kinda easy
Internships Opportunities
Amazon, Maruti, Nvidia, Apple, Google like big companies come for internship and give a decent amount of stipend too. Some of the projects like ml coding which seniors here teach in the clubs are helpful too.
Placement Experience
From 3rd years students are eligible for internship and from 7th semester they are eligible for campus placement. Amazon,nvidia, apple , etc come to our college. Percentage of students getting placement is also good.
Fees and Financial Aid
For general category family income above 5 lpa 62500 is the tuition fee and total fee is 73500.For general category family income between 1 to 5 lpa tuition fee is 20833 and total fee is 31833. For income less than 1 lpa it is 11000 and for sc st it is also 11000.Mess fee is 22500 for all categories
Campus Life
2 main fests are there tecnoesis and incandescence. Tecnoesis as the name suggest is techincal fest and incand is cultural fest. Library is the asia's biggest digital library so there is a wide range of books and journals.
Hostel Facilities
The food here is very good. Both veg and non veg food is available. The registration process is very easy it is done on the day of admission itself and the teachers and seniors are helping too. PG here are a little cheap but then it might be a little far from college.
Admission
I chose this college because I wanted to explore north east india and it also had a good placement ratio for which every person fight for. So it was a good choice for me. Like every college has some pros and cons even mit gonna have so no regrets.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is quite good.Teaching is kinda good.Every class is done in english so some students who aren't english familiar lack behind. There are faculties of different states so it is difficult to understand their accent.
Night Life
There is a gym here. A cafeteria is also here. And there are some beautiful places inside and outside the campus too. For first years the campus timing is 9 pm strictly. The locality is very safe for roaming outside. Famous hangout spots are t point gymkhana park tea garden.
