My college experience

College is situated on the outskirts of Gaya District located in Khizarsarai. Its campus is about 87 acre. Its has separate buildings for each Branch for practical. College provideds Free Bus facility to the students to the city where we all live in ours rented rooms.

Course curriculum is well. The college is well funded by the Gov. Of Bihar for all its tools and things needed. Basically in a semester there is only one mid-semester and the other one is university exam. Mid-semester exam that consist of 20 marks of internal theory written. And 10 marks for assignment and attendance in total. After that there is external university exam for 70 marks. And 50 marks is of Viva - Practical.

Recently there was a placement from Prism Johnson limited for 4.8 lakhs PA in which three students were placed in year 2018. This type of placement is here common. Mainly students here focus on GATE preparation and Gov. Jobs.

Yes there are cultural events in the college. Recently there was Sumedha-18 in year 2018 in which I too had taken part. There is also sports event celebrated every year which includes Cricket, Football, Badminton, kabaddi, volleyball and some indoor Games also.

Fee structure in Colleges of Bihar are not too high. So same here in my college. Its has presently ?3200/- per semester and ?2100/- per year. Fee structure is here like this because it is a Government college.

Chief Minister of Bihar has enabled Student credit card which gives loan upto 4 lakhs to a student of Bihar who studies in a recognized institution. So well here in this college this too loan facilty works. Also there also scholarship which are availed by the students.

Yes college has sports activities which includes Cricket, Football, Badminton, kabaddi, volleyball and some indoor Games also. Labs are also well aquinted with modern machines. Here we do have extracurricular activities like speech, Debate, quizzes and many more.

College facilities here are available only from 3rd year. There are two hostels namely Buddha Hostel for 3rd year and Siddhart hostel for 4th year. Hostel has Mess service three times a day, Water and electricity facilities are well too. Hostel is also provided with Wi-Fi.

Yes there is a alumini held in which all passout senior comes and they do share there knowledge and experience with us. It is very overwhelming when they come bg our invitation and we really feel well.

I got admission in this college by its entrance examination BCECE. My rank in GEN was 2005. After that there was a portal for online councelling which was to be filled by me. After doing that I got my college from the list which I mentioned in that online portal. Soon the date was also published for physical reporting of candidates and so that I did and now I am currently student of that college.

Faculty here in college are all of M.tech or above well qualified from higher institution. Some are from IIT-BOMBAY, NITs and also from BHU. Faculty here are well responsible for the students, all doubts are well cleared by them including practicals.
