An Honest Review

Perfect things don't exist in this world. Location of the college is one of its greatest negativities. But when we get some good faculty members, we forget the grief. Lack of a playground, bothers us needless to say. But the extended front staircase and the Seminar Hall provides the much needed exposure and compensate.

Course curriculum is as prescribed by MAKAUT. The college strictly sticks to the curriculum and follows the syllabus and exam process meticulously. Per semester, we have two unit tests, and then the Practical exam, after which we sit for our theory exams as scheduled by the university, each paper out of 70 marks. The internal marks are sent out of 30 for each paper by the college.

College does provide internship, depending on the department and capabilities of students. Placement is offered to students based on their CGPA and vacancies in the company. 2015-19 batch saw a very good placement.

MSIT is open to occasions throughout the semesters. The odd semester begins with orientation and Footprints (the Fresher's), followed by the intra college tech fest, Tech Xtra. Quiz contests and musical events follow them along with the events organised by the Rotaract Club of MSIT. The odd semester begins with the hype of Paridhi, the inter college tech fest followed by Vocations, the intra college music contest and finally, ADVAYA, the cultural fest of MSIT.

Feasible. 3.5 lac (approximately) as a total of 4 yr course. Moreover, TFW quota is also available as per the rules of the university. The fees for every semester has to be paid within the stipulated time in the preceding semester. However in case of financial emergencies, the accounts department is ready for negotiation in terms of time.

I myself have not availed any loan or scholarship. But as far as I can gather from some of my friends, education loans are always available to students, based on the normal method of credibility score. Moreover, the mark sheet of students also play a very vital role for the fees payment of every semester.

MSIT has a plethora of clubs. The tech club Megatronix organises tech fests with huge sponsorship, while Rotaract Club of MSIT focuses on the social activities. Yuva, the cultural committee of MSIT concentrates on organising Footprints, the Fresher's and Advaya, the cultural fest of the college. The quiz club, Gnosis organises both quizzes and debates in the college for enhancing the soft skills of the students. Sargam, the music club of MSIT organises music contests and musical events for the students. Inkblotts, the magazine committee of MSIT displays the literary buds of MSIT. Apart from that organisations like IET and IEEE have their student chapters and a number of seminars and workshops in the college.

Senior students and the alumni network Meson are very helpful for the juniors. They always tend to extend a hand of help towards the students. In some cases, where the faculty members fail to recognize the problems, seniors if approached can recognize them as well try to figure out simpler solutions.

I secured a rank of 147170 in JEE MAIN 2015. I sat for counselling and kept this college along with Electrical engineering stream as one of the topmost priorities. Eventually I got selected and went with the provisional form to the college on a given date and got admitted post document verification. No unfair means are adopted in this college for admission.
