Beyond the brochure: UPES

One thing that included me is that they have specialization program which helps to be more diverse and specific format my course also we may learn other courses like business or media based on our interests it's a really diverse program.

From 7th sem placement starts or roughly from 3rd year . The university help you with placement training . Top company like shell , Deloitte,tcs , vipro , adobe visit the campus. Average package is 5 - 8 lakhs . Approx 80 - 90% students get placed based on the average package. If incampus placement doesn't suti well people basically go with mba or linked in jab search .

We have to pay the fees semester wise and each semester is of 6 months and fees may differ yearly based on the current fees structure and scholarship. At start you may get scholarship based on your 12th percentage or jee main result after that based on your cgpa you get scholarship like if your cgpa is 8 or above you will get 40% scholarship.

Uurja is our annual fest of UPES, alongside the college overall celebrate every festival there and other activities related to sports, technical etc. There is a library where you can borrow books on your subjects the process is simple. Sports are one thing that widely engages you if you are a sports person, also some people are always engaging in sports so you can always play with them like basketball, cricket, and badminton.

In hostel the girls and boys hostel ar really different so don't get confused by that . In rooms availability it is divided into tripple sharing which include 3 beds, 3 almirah, 3 side table , 3 study table , 1 balcony, and a common washroom, double sharing which include 2 bed, 2 student table , washroom, 2 almirah, a common shelf , a double sharing with AC which in extra uncle and AC . The meal is quite good but the staff keep getting changed every year so it may differ accordingly. The menu also changed every week . The registration process is during the time of admission only and it's quite affordable compared to the hostel outside its yearly fees is 175000. The rent outside the campus may increase if you want a Hostel but in pg it may differ.

I also got lette rform SRM , bennete , thapar university, etc. Upes has amore diversity in CSE as many college don't offer the speclization you want major in but that kind of diversity upes have that may differ in Many other colleges. To many college my offer got rejected based on your jee main result. UPES also have their own examination they take based on MCQ based , also they accept 12th result and jee result as well. If your have great results in 12th and jee then no need to give an exam. The exam is quite simple and if you basically have an average result in your 12th and jee you can definitely enter here as sometimes things goes on first come first sever bases .

The faculty and student bond is quite professional here and if you have a good bond with them they are of great help with your projects and future help. A bunch of facilities are really good and a bunch may vary as they might fail you based on unreasonable reason.

The night life of upes is young and crowd is there in many places till 10. Around upes there are espots where you can see people usually hangout in between lectures or after. The gym is available at the morning from 5 and in the evening from 5. Library facilities increase during exam time so that students can study there.
