Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum is set by NMC and followed exactly. Frequency of exams is good as well Clinical subjects no one comes to teach in theory classes even if they do they are not interested to teach much so it's better when they don't come.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was from ALL INDIA QUOTA GENERAL so my fee for 1st year was 1 lakh and subsequently 3 years 71500 each year. The hostel fee was 9000 initially but the hostel is not good so I shifted to a rented apartment after 1st year. The mess fee is separate on a monthly basis around 3000.

Campus Life

1

We have everybook easily accessible in our library, we can issue any book from there The classrooms are airconditioned with the projectors and boards With the theatre rooms The sports that are played are basketball football and volleyball cricket also everysport is played and enjoyed We have student union group for raising voices

Admission

I got allotted this college in round 1 as well as round 2 of counselling. For me nothing changed so I had to take admission here. No other options did not want to wait for stray round. I would not suggest anyone to do the same. Mbbs where you have done MATTERS.

Faculty

3

Faculty _ highly qualified professionals with lot of experience and good qualifications but very understaffed eg only 2 professors in medicine when 8 are required minimum, so no one to teach the students. Para and pre clinical subjects of 1 st 2 nd year are all more or less good. Few exceptions are always there. Teachers are sincere and great in teaching, very approachable and interested to help students. Clinical subjects it's opposite. So 3rd 4th year is complete time waste. Which is sad as it is the main part of mbbs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
