- Greenery , Lush green environemnt is all i like in this college
- Spacious OAT which is well maintained and cleaned afte and before the fest and is also a good place to hangout
Dislikes
- Not enough eateries and also which are there , we need to compromise with the quality there
- In time for hostels and that also for boys is totally pointless in my POV
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curicuulum is relevant enough but in first sem it was irrelevant in some courses like there were several courses which were out of the domain like we were taught a course which belongs to the core of Mechanical enginn=eering but i belongs to ECE so studying such courses does not make any sense for me atleast but from 2nd sem and onwards we are entering into the core of the branch and becoming more domain orineted
Placement Experience
Placement of the college is depriciating over the year and also i got some words of mouth that some of the top MnC like microsoft has banned this college so it is a very diosappinting for the students if it is a true rumour and also the atmosphere of the college is shaped by students itself so that is also depleting over the year i guess but the college is working on it so it would recover probably
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee strcuture depends on the income slot of the student like people have different income , my income barrier was ess than 1 lpa so i was empted form paying 100% of the fees and i paid a sum of 80K at the time of counselling and it had not been consumed as of now so the tuition fees i did not had to pay but other fees like examination fees and Co curiciular activites fees i had to pay ... For SC ST category students the same criteria is followed and those who are having fees between 1 lpa to 5 lpa they are empted to pay 2 / 3rd of the fees
Campus Life
Campus life of the college is overall good , not soo good , not soo bad like one of the drawback is no as such night life therre is because of unavailability of any such famous cafes or eateries and outlets so is a -ve factor . Classrooms are well air conditoned and enough benches and spacious enough and well equipped classrooms
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is there in the college within the college campus and not so much away from the place where our classes are held it is at a walking distance . Elctrcity water and closet and a bed is all provided in the hostel . Meal quality depends on hoste to hsotel and mess commitee . Registration process for hostel was not soo tough but a bit time consuming which included filling a form and then lottery system for room allocations
Admission
NIT's are one of the most reputated college for engineering in India and for getting into this college one has to appear for JEE so i also did and got enough marks to get into this college according to me the options which were available to me were not that good enough like i dont like the locatiion of few other nities which were open to me and also i liked the lush green beauty campus of this college
Faculty
Faculty members , Assistant and Professors of the college are okayish like the typical governemnt college it is , some are good , some are best in their subject and domain It depends on professor to professor and department to department however everyone is proficient enough in their subject and thats all what matters to us the most and yes some teachers are this much good that they also guides us about hackathons or any other certified scholarships
Night Life
Nightlife of the college is not good at all , for the boys of 1st year there is a restriuction that we cant leave the hostel after 9 pm and for girls this is even more stricter girls are not allowed to leave the hostel after 8 or 8 30 pm and also one more drawback is that no outlets are there where we can chillout so a neagtive point and i also think so that it is not safe to roam around the colleg at night for girls i gueess so many dogs barking
