Gargi College has good faculties!!

BA is every girls first choice as learning accountancy or the scientific calculation were not mh cup of tea. So, Arts to me and that too with not economics as the major subject felt easy and something where I could give my best is why I took admissions here. Political Science, and German in language are both what I have opted for and I am very satisfied with the kind of teaching and curriculum that we have.

Well, travel companies or even the stock broking firms like Icici Mutual Fund or SMC Global Securities Ltd are the ones where internships are arranged from us through the college. Stipend offered isn't that lucrative but that 8 weeks of training at these organizations gives us an indicator of how corporate life would be.

Many companies and tour companies like Goibibo and others. Even hotels like Lemontree and others are also into our college placements scene and an industry which is dominated by girls, our college has cracked it well as most students get placed from our college and with a kind salary of 40 thousand plus.

The fees at Gargi College is lesser than that of many colleges in DU and it's because it's an all girls college. After LSR, it's Gargi which is among the top girls college of DU and still the fees for BA is just 19000 a year. Students with top merit holders gets a certain scholarship every year of 25-50%.

I am glad annual fest topic is here as Reverie our annual fest is starting from today and it's more or less the same time when it is organized every year. It's a 3 day fest and most students are seen participating for the same. We have some of the best societies like Enliven, Nazakhat, Quizittoo, Samarth and Avni the Eco club where we could join and contribute. I have been a part of NSS Gargi in the first year and the kind of empowerment i learned from there was next level. Our campus has 4 blocks and each block has 2 floors.

Admissions process of DU is good till CUET, the counselling round are actually quite hectic as within minutes we have to decide and lock the college. However, I was certain that I need an all girls college and after missing out on LSR, it was Gargi and therefore when Gargis admissions were on, and my name came, i immediately handed the dd in my hand and filled the form and submitted for the same.

Exams are obviously two as one is internals and one is mains. Our facultors make sure that they give extra edge to students who are attentive and also listen to them. So, yes one has to maintain their name in faculties notebooks or good books. There aren't any partiality from them and this is perhaps the best thing about them.

Some kiosks outside the college or its the Ansal Plaza shopping complex. As Green Park otherwise don't have much to explore and Ansal Plaza has it all. From branded food outlets to multiplex, so be it food or the movie, we get everything that we want there.
