- Infrastructure is very nice, it is better than many other good colleges of Delhi University
- Faculty is very nice, they know how to teach and make the subject interesting.
- Canteen is actually nice, very affordable and has tasty good which one can not only eat but enjoy
Dislikes
- That there are some courses of sec and vac which our collge does not offer while other colleges do.
- Fest is not that good, it will be more enjoyable if we get more budget
Course Curriculum Overview
Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value
Internships Opportunities
Our collegs provided good internship Opportunity this year, compainies like unstop, learnx, insplore etc were there also for placement companies like macdonals were there. All the Internships were paid and they had good stipend
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for my course BA Economics Hons in Lakshmibai college is round off 13000, I am currently in my 3rd year and the fees is same till now there is no increase or decrease in the fees. About scholarship, Delhi University offers scholarships for those who have good cgpa and those who are from economically weaker section, which students do avail.
Campus Life
There are many active and good societies in Lakshmibai, our western and classical dance socities, Enactus, Debate society, respective societies of many departments are very active and students and can be a part of them, learn and grow with them. Our fest happens in March or April before exams of even semester and you can call it average if you will compare it with top DU colleges
Admission
U can take admission in Lakshmibai by giving Cuet, my preference that time was bcom hons i wanted to do bcom and eco hons was my 2nd option so i firstly filled all colleges of bcom hons then of eco hons and got Lakshmibai as my college
Faculty
Faculty of economics Hons in Lakshmibai is very nice they know how to teach and make their subjects interesting, our class size is 48 but actually 25-30 students attend lectures, but theres are exceptions not everyone can be good there are some teachers who know the subject and they give their best but due to some reasons it is difficult for students to understand. There is only one final exam every semester but our internals are divided into continuous assessment ans internal assessment under which teachers take many tests,vivas , assignments.
Night Life
Our gym, cafeterias, library and public areas are closed at night because we don't have hostel facility in our college so no one stays very late in college. We have many good cafes near our college which have great food and are affordable.
