Faculty

My overall experience at the college has been balanced with the noticeable strength as well as areas needing improvement in the faculty of student ratios around the 1:20–1:30 WHICH HELP MAINTAIN A COMFORTABLE LEARNING MOMENT MOST FACULTY MEMBER ARE APPROACHABLE AND ACADEMIC IS STRONG AND SUPPORTIVE DURING DOUBTS PROJECT AND CAREER GUIDANCE. I PERSONALLY APPRECIATE TEACHER LIKE THE DOCTOR MIRA SHARMA, FOR HER PRACTICAL TEACHING STYLE IN NUMERICAL SUBJECT, AND MR. RITU VERMA FOR HELPING THE STUDENT APPROVE THE COMMUNICATION AND INTERVIEW SKILLS HOWEVER, A FEW FACULTY MEMBER HAS FAST FACED TEACHING METHODS OR OUT LECTURE MATERIALS WITH SOMETIME REDUCE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT. THE COURSE STRUCTURE IS WELL DESIGNED COMBINED CORE SUBJECT, while the most of the curriculum industry is relevant, if your radical subject could benefit from update, the exam system include internal midterm final exam and assignments exam are more difficult through some time, technical subject. Write for making the journal fair but varies from the teacher to teacher campus life is active and interactive offering good social exposure the girls to boys ratio roughly 40 ratio 60 creating a balance environment, placement and decent satisfaction, guidance internship, and job preparation the placement support and still be improved

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
